I’m on about day 20 of my free trial with both products and I had been leaning towards RavenTools already… this post just nudged me over the edge… and you’re right. They are both incredible tools but raven has those few extras. Thanks for the great analysis.

Hello Christine – Yes using the nextgen plugin for wordpress is a really really great solution for this. I have used it for many of our websites and have found it extremely flexible and easy to use. If you install the plugin you can set up any number of galleries and insert them into a page or post via a new little icon that shows up in the WYSIWYG editor once the plugin is installed. I need to come up with a good photo gallery and viewing along the lines of your writer…

I can leave it on the site’s html section or I can add a page off the blog and put on the WP section…

I just need something easy to manage and easy to view… attractive…
gallery (bunch of thumbnails on a page) and then a slide show off of each one…

A search feature that groups by category is very intriguing… think I read something about that with NewGen.

I’m not a programmer so looking for guidance!

After I did this project I demo'd a tool that would have made this process even more efficient. The SEOgadget Keyword Research tool is definitely worth looking into.
